Seven Lions is dope. Not knowing much about him, I peeped his set at Tomorrowworld a few years back (RIP) at the Mirror Stage. Those of you that attended can attest to it being one of the raddest stages known to man. On that rainy night, the Bassnectar look-a-like came A LONG way from disappointing. As a matter of fact, he threw down what I look back on as probably the most memorable set of the weekend. It was elegant, in the darkest way possible.
Fast Forward to June 23, 2017. Not a damn thing has changed. After a surprise Psytrance BANGER of a set at EDC LV and dropping single “Where I Wont Be Found” earlier this month, Seven Lions is making it known that it is “The Year of the Lion”. With his remix to Myon's “Omen in the Rain“, Jeff Montalvo continues to take 2017 by storm.
Taking a jumpy-trancy-big room (if you want to call it that?) track and turning it into a dark, yet oh so bright hit is the easiest way to put what Seven Lions did to this Myon track. Seven Lions came in with this remix and transformed the track to bring it to a new level. The build of this song actually results in something of a drop. After listening to Seven Lions' new remix, we know that the song has crazy replay value. Seven Lions, thank you, this will do.
