GG Magree is unapologetically her own person, which is also passionately represented within her music and singing career. She propelled to the top of the charts towards the end of last year, providing vocals for the hit single by Zeds Dead + NGHTMRE, “Frontlines”. Now she's performing alongside Rezz and Ghastly at the iconic Red Rocks, as well as representing the female crew at this year's HARD Summer.

How did you get your start into music, in particular, dance music and dubstep/trap genre more specifically? What draws you to this type of sub-genre over other dance music?
I used to throw parties when I was younger and was always in control of the AUX and used to watch my homies who djed, so I started playing for like 5 hours every Saturday at my local pub to practice and then started Djing at the parties I threw and completely feel in love with it! I never really knew about trap music, my sets from day one had always been super super bassy and I was playing a club one night and a friend of mine was like “YO YOU PLAY THE DOPEST TRAP” and from then on i knew I found my preferred genre. I love the feeling bass gives, I make me wanna be BADDDDD!!!
How did your life experiences and upbringings help shape your style of music and/or develop your persona?
My family are sooooo supportive its crazy! They have always known I’m a lil tweaked, a lil left of centre and they alway pushed for me to push my creative boundaries! Im so so so blessed! Im also obsessed with travelling and creating new experiences so I guess I really am just living my best life all the time aka YEAH PUSSY!
What was your favorite part about collaborating with Zeds Dead? Are you excited about your vocal performance at this year's HARD summer?
I have always been a huge fan of the boys and with frontline being the first track id ever written, Sung and really ever shown anyone it was such a crazyyyyy feeling when they said they loved what I had written and even more how much they loved my voice! I really can’t describe it! And absolutely!!!! Hard I’lI be bringing something supper supper Sexy for Ya’ll!
Talk about your new single ONE x 3 dropping at the end of the month on Zed's Dead label. What was your vision and creative journey for the track?
I’m an extremely visual human! So when I started with One x 3 I new I wanted it to be moody, Dark and super dramatic! I don’t want to say too much but Onex3 take you on a JOURRRNEYYYY and its meant to make you feel all the dam feels
Who are you listening to right now that you feel is making strides/changing the dance world?

Do you find that performing for US crowds is different than your native, Australia crowds for shows? What's different or the same?
Its pretty on par – I mean Aussies go Hard!!! But the US crowds also give us a run for our money!
Is there a particular artist you are looking forward most to seeing at HARD Summer?
God so many – Bassnector, Skepta, Justice, Migos, Rae Sremmurd — Fuck basically the whole line up!
What's next for you (besides your single)? What's your ultimate end goal?
So much sauce! Myself and my manger are about to launch a creative Label “Yeah Pussy” so we have been heads down with that! Which I’m sooooo dam excited to revel! I also recently shot a mini doco with vice and belvedere vodka which showcased the underground party culture in Paris and it was extremely well received so now it looks like you be seeing ya girl GG on more eps around the world!
The end goal! I really don't see there ever being an end I see more, more, more, I'll be releasing a bunch more music, playing festivals I only ever dreamed off and dancing my lil toosh off the whole dam time! I just want to make people have a good fucking time, make memorable music thats life! If I can do that my Job here on this planet is done.
