Smirnoff Vodka and Point Blank Music School have banded together to change the status quo for women within the Dance Music scene. With EDM being such a diverse culture it has been hot debate as to how there is not more women DJ/Producers. We've all got our favorite female DJ/Producer but it seems as though the number of women who receive high levels of promotion is small with only 17% of major headliners at festivals being females and only 5% of producers being female. Smirnoff have taken on the idea to change this by launching the “Equalizing Music” Campaign. Hear more about how Smirnoff and Point Blank will band together to change the face of dance music in the video below.
