Aaron Dawson and Britian Holcomb make up the production duo Crystal Skies. Not only have the two created stunning music, for example the 2016 ep Serenity, but they have remixed some of the top artists today such as Illenium and Crywolf. The latest Crystal Skies Remix is of the Arcturians dubstep track, Storm. Turning this song from dubstep to future house the duo have created an incredible track.
Crystal Skies layer a guitar over the melody that accentuates the chord progression in clean crisp fashion. The song has great live feel to it due to the aforementioned acoustic guitar accompanied by smooth percussion. The drop hits with uplifting synths and a hard wood-block snare that really brings that classic future bass sound. Crystal Skies have been a one of the most dynamic producers I have heard over the last few years and they clearly bring their talents to this song. I look forward to hearing what the duo has in store for us as they continue to compose phenomenal music.
