Over the years, A-Trak has proven to be one of the industries most talented mixers. With live sets that leave fans floored and in awe with his ability take control of a deck, he has brought excitement to stages all over the world. With roots in hip-hop, he has become one of the most renowned mixers in the World. He has worked with the likes of Jim Jones, Juicy J, A$AP Ferg, Kid Cudi, Lup Fiasco and being Kanye West's tour DJ in the early 2000's (to name a few). As a matter of fact, he recorded legendary scratches to “Late Registration” that are said to drastically have influenced the sound of “Graduation”. Conducting life changing scratches to some of your favorite songs and dropping (in my opinion) the dopest Boiler Room mix of all time (literally made me believe I was Myles Davis because I peed my pants 5 times, not really, but you get the point), the Prince of Juicero and Fool's Gold counterpart Nick Catchdubs next stop is to Coney Art Walls in Brooklyn for his Annual installment of “Fools Gold Day Off-New York” on August 19th.
Having already made stops in Montreal and Paris, the after videos have us hyped. The lineup is a blend of Hip-Hop legends, Trap Gods and up-and-comers including: Jay Electronica, PnB Rock, Remy Banks, Leaf, K$ace, Swoosh, Nick Catchdubs, Nyck @ Knight and Flosstradamus. I'll tell you one thing, those “Coney Art Walls” are in for some ish. This event is going to include some insane mixing, lyrical mastery, head banging and most importantly good musix. That said, I do know one thing, these guys love the element of surprise and judging by recent years, we are in for some treats. I would begin to speculate but I don't want to ruin a potential surprise. I just know A-Trak just dropped an absolute banger with Quavo and Lil Yachty… A man can dream, a man can dream. This stage has proven to be one of the PREMIER Hip-Hop festival in the world, a place where many of the artists we listen to today got their start. It is unique in size and really is a “intimate” environment (in the most hardcore way possible).
Alain & Nick have been innovators in the industry since the Fools Gold inception in 2007. They are largely credited with bringing the World's of Hip-Hip and EDM together. Now, we are seeing their practices replicated by some of the biggest names in EDM, most recently with Steve Aoki and Calvin Harris. They have built more than a label and have been able to bring a successful brand to the industry, earlier this year opening a new store @ 147 Grand Street in Brooklyn, NY.

Most importantly, this guy is all about the fans. One of the most affordable shows this summer. If you are in the area and are not at the venue, you are out of your damn mind. Get tickets A$AP prior to tiering up or worse, selling out!
