Koven and Crystal Skies have collaborated together creating the powerful opus, You Me and Gravity, on Monstercat. Katie, Max, Britain and Aaron are four insanely talented individuals that have come together to create a track perfectly balanced between darkness and beauty. You Me and Gravity starts off with light synths that lay the groundwork for Katie’s etheric voice. As the song grows light piano sweeps in and a distorted pluck synth hits like a drop in a bucket. The songs energy increases as meticulous high-hats race through the soothing melodic drop. The song slowly builds back up with marching percussion only to explode like a supernova into the 2nd and final drop. The sound design in both Koven and Crystal Skies is some of the best on the market and it is on full display in this chilled out melodic work of art.
