Philly Is Ready To Get Philthy with Subtronics & Uber

There’s a question that a lot of people in the dance community have been asking themselves lately. What the hell is Riddim? Now, we know, if you ask this question outside of the comfort of your own brain you’ll be shunned and exposed by the dubstep community. I mean honestly, who DOESN’T know what is riddim and what isn’t? Well, the answer is simple. Pretty much everyone has no idea! Whether you’re a riddim die-hard or you just love dubstep overall, the rise of riddim has been a breath of fresh air into a community stuck in different variations of the same trend. Quoting Borgore “Riddim puts the swing back into dubstep.” We couldn’t agree more.

Two of our favorite riddim pals are coming together this late summer/early fall for a tour of monstrous proportions. Philadelphia native Subtronics and dubstep limit pusher Uber have teamed up to take their relationship past the level of head over heels in love with each other best friends. Now, they are embarking musically together on an experience of nasty, grimy, and heavy bass. The duo have risen to fame having their tracks supported by some of the largest names in the bass community such as 12th Planet, Adventure Club, Excision, and many more. Releasing music constantly and ever-changing their performances, the guys keep it fresh and always have surprises up their sleeves. Whether it’s doubling some chunes, dropping an old banger to bring back nostalgia, or annihilating audiences with their own original productions, we suggest you stretch heavily before catching one of these tour stops.

Lucky for dubstep fans in the city of brotherly love, the tour will be stopping in Subtronics' hometown on August 17th.  An added special treat will be an opening set from NYC native Codd Dubz who never ceases to amaze dubstep crowds with his live performances. Our favorite Philadelphia venue, Coda, will be hosting the madness for Philly’s bass family. While many nights at Coda can be filled with bankers and lawyers from the Rittenhouse area of the city, August 17th will surely be a night where only the swamp monsters of the city come out to play. Make sure to grab your tickets here while they still last, and we’ll see you out there on the battlefield!
