After weeks of anticipation, Zomboy finally released part one of his ‘Rott N’ Roll’ EP today (Aug. 7). The project is comprised of four tracks that ring true to Zomboy’s precise, punching sound. You guys are going to want to sit down for this one, because it’s a heavy hitter.
Included in the EP are the previously released tracks ‘Young & Dangerous’ featuring Kato as well as ‘Rotten’ featuring Bok Nero.
The lead track on the EP, ‘Biterz’ showcases Zomboy’s creepier side. Opening with somber piano riffs the builds up slowly, only to be met with catchy vocals and epic dubstep synths. The song then is broken up by an eerie bridge, adding to the “rotten” theme of the EP.
Also on the on the EP is “Saints & Sinners.” This track is more melodic than the others on the EP, but it packs just as heavy of a punch. Angelic male vocals are intertwined with bass synths to create the most unique track on the EP.
Zomboy is currently on his North American tour. Are you going to see him in your city?
