Kiwi soul, funk legend Cheshire has just dropped his third LP, Smokescreens and Somersaults on Westwood Recordings. With 10 tracks filled with funk fuelled goodness, Cheshire has indeed established himself in the mid tempo/ glitch hop scene with this release.
Cheshire has always incorporated live instrumentation throughout his career – electric bass, guitar, saxophone, and keys – and this album features this vibe along with some big named guest spots from the likes of Beat Fatigue and Chamberlain.
