KSHMR has always worn his heritage on his sleeve. I mean let's be honest his name is a direct reference to his Kashmiri roots. While he grew up in California many of his melodies and rhythms contain traditional Indian and Kashmiri elements. This always makes for a unique and gorgeous production.
Today KSHMR uploaded a mashup of his hit track ‘Kolkata' from his latest EP, ‘Materia' with ‘Jimmy Aaja'. If you are not familiar with the latter it is because it is an Indian pop tune. He specifically made this mash up for the Indian people. They are the most vocal supporters of KSHMR and rightfully so. He has time and time again put they beautiful culture on the world stage.
