Dr. Shiver, one of Protocol Recordings newest members, has just released his new and funky single “Something.” This track showcases this Italian producer's ability to create music that is not only modern but, slightly nostalgic as well. This new release features the soulful vocals of Kazi, intensifying it with all of its wonder. Dr. Shiver's creation, “Something' contains a vintage sound that delivers the impression that this track can easily be played live. Truthfully, it is obvious to see that he has a unique capability for this type of music. “This track really represents every one of my artistic sides,” the talented producer shared. “As a pianist and hammond player my origins are based in the blues, funky, soul and black music and in this tune you can really feel my musical background in every note, melody and chord progression.” Protocol Recordings has obviously expanded it's horizons when signing a new artist to the popular record label. Exploring new sounds seems to be the new goal for this impressive trademark.
