Just hours ago, a powerful 7.1 earthquake struck Mexico, toppling buildings and ratting the capital. The earthquake that hit around 1pm caused heavy and prolonged shaking throughout Mexico City. It's been reported that more than 40 buildings and structures in Mexico City have collapsed, including at least two schools.
More than 110 people have been reported killed across the country, includes many people near the epicenter in Morelos and dozens more in Mexico City. That number is unfortunately expected to climb.
