You can credit Mad Decent head Diplo aka James Van Der Beek and Dillion Francis aka Jasper on the discovery and scene dropping of A Boy & A Girl. Their spine shaking sub bass and enhanced melodies have taken the EDM community by storm over the past few years. They have been taking on festivals like EDC LV, Ultra Miami as well as some of the raddest clubs in the U-S-and-A including Exchange LA and Avalon. A Boy & a Girl are rapidly making a name for themselves. They received love from Excisions massive 2016 Shambala Mix for a remix of their song “stampede” and equal love for their official remix of Dillon Francis and NGHTMRE’s smasher “Need You”.
So here we are in late September. Keeping summer alive, A Boy & A Girl have just dropped a killer remix to Krewella’s original track, “TH2C”. Taking the beautiful track and making it their own, incorporating an enhanced bass drum through the songs melodic verses. Bringing a Daft Punk feel to the bridge, A Boy & A Girl drop us into a sea of bass and progressive mixed emotion which is used as an opener to the real drop, a bass heaven of sorts. The two delivered what can be viewed as a career changing remix. They completely re-worked this already beautiful track, making it their own and delivering bass heads everywhere a festival banger with heavy, heavy replay value.
Keep an eye on A Boy & A Girl as the year goes on and into 2018, a lot of promise here!
