Just two nights ago, a gunman opened fire at a country music festival in Las Vegas.
The 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, unleashed hundreds of bullets from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel. The gunman murdered at least 59 people and injured more than 500 others.
Despite the chaos from the events that unfolded, hundreds of ordinary people decided to step up and help others out at the festival.
