This track has been coming for well over a half a year. We first heard it teased and debuted at Ultra Miami last March and ever since it has been a main stay in Afrojack's sets. It has been incredibly exciting recently as Afrojack has gone back deep into his Dutch house roots to re-imagine and unfortunately almost forgotten genre. His last release was a show stopper in it's own right, and now his collaboration with Hardwell, ‘Hands Up', has continued his impressive trend.
On the nose not much will shock you in terms of originality, but ‘Hands Up' is a return to the genre which helped give life to big room, Melbourne bounce and of course countless subgenres of electro. The near extinction of Dutch house has been a painful thing to watch, but we are ecstatic for two of the finest producers of the genre have teamed back up to breath new life into the extraordinary sound. Take a listen to ‘Hands Up' below.
