The gunman that murdered 59 people at the Las Vegas music festival this past Sunday night, may have originally targeted a number of other music festivals as well.
Just days ago, it was reported that Stephen Paddock may have rented multiple condos overlooking the annual Life Is Beautiful Festival. With attendances reaching nearly 100,000 people every day, Life Is Beautiful was home to artists such as Chance The Rapper, Kaskade, Lorde, and Pretty Lights.
TMZ now reports that Stephen Paddock booked multiple rooms in Chicago during Lollapalooza this year at hotels overlooking Grant Park. TMZ acquired the screenshot of a booking confirmation that Stephen Paddock had at the Blackstone Hotel in Chicago.
“We are aware of the media reports and have been in communication with our federal partners,” the Chicago Police Department said in a statement. “As you saw earlier this week the city conducts extensive public safety planning and training around major events, in close coordination with our law enforcement partners, to ensure public safety.”
TMZ was told that Paddock had requested both rooms to be a “view room” which had access to Grant Park.
Apparently, Stephen Paddock never showed up for his reservations.
