Faux Tales has released the stunning track Beacon on TheFatRat record label, The Arcadium. This marks the debut release for the label. The works of the Swiss producer Timo Loosli have set the bar for excellence in melodic complex bass music along with other greats like Seven Lions, Illenium and so on. With a collection of music that span from powerful Above and Beyond covers to beautiful piano ballads, Faux Tales production has been nothing short of awe-inspiring. Beacon, the latest release is a perfect example of why I consider Faux Tales to be in the upper echelon of melodic producers.
Beacon starts off with a delicate melody built by soft piano and bells. The song breaks off into a wonderland of sound. A vast landscape constructed of powerful bass and sound bending synths, the song takes you on a journey. Beacon then descends back down to the gentle melody this time with a soft percussion symbols backing. The song then releases for one last drop just before it softly winds down. Listen to Beacon here.
