It’s the time of year we are all trading in our speedo’s and thong bikini’s for Jeans and leggings. The time diverse Electric Music fans archive their Tropical House playlists and trade them in for head-banging shwangy bass mixes.
Gonna start by saying people that don't like bass music “just because” need to take their fanny pack off and give it a chance. Or listen to the forthcoming track. In recent production, Bass DJ/Producer Getter has been putting out music that appears to embody a bit of a different more diverse sound, embodying a wide range of genres and meshing them into Bass. We all know about the alter-ego he has taken on in the Rap game (Terror Reid), but, the recent production being thrown out there by Getter is something that just can’t go “un-listened” to regardless of your “genre-allegiances”.
After dropping “Solo” with the help of Party Nails (in my opinion one of his best track to date) just a few weeks back, SUH DUDE is back with a new track “Big Mouth”. What’s most impressive about this track is the ability to take us from a vibed-out intro into a more up-tempo “verse” with almost a Super Mario feel to it using what appears to be a complete keyboard switch. I’m getting completely lost in my words here because there is just many different sounds in this track. Thing is, most times efforts like this by artists get very-very messy. Just too much going on. But, Getter, Getter gets getting it here.
