Fresh off their collaboration with Sam Feldt, the LA-based band The Federal Empire has released a new single: “Perfect Strangers.”
Listening to their past releases, the band truly blends alternative rock and electronic music. The Federal Empire at times sounds reminiscent of bands such as The Head and the Heart, while at other times they turn to a style more Passion Pit-like, or even Empire of the Sun. Perfect Strangers” though takes an especially indie electro pop direction with vocals that remind me of the latter-most reference.
