Marshmello has received a lot of flack over the last two years or so. So many seasoned dance music veterans have taken a jaded perspective on the producer as they believe his productions lack originality.
Still behind close doors those same people who talk smack probably low key do enjoy a handful of Mello tracks. This is simply because the ridiculous masked artist is incredibly catchy. Nothing demonstrates this point more than the elderly's reactions when they first experience some Marshmello music.
While I honestly expected most senior citizens to absolutely hate Marshmello, almost every single person that listened enjoyed several of his songs.
It shows that when there is not judgement on being cool or fitting in, people just actually like Marshmello for his music. Makes you think a little bit huh?
