Porter Robinson has followed up his initial release as his new alias with a track that dwarfs his past productions. ‘Ghost Voices' is a powerful and dynamic track that molds several different genres into one cohesive piece. Porter once again proves that he has an elegance about his sounds even when the border on the aggressive.
‘Ghost Voices' started out deep, almost ghoulish tone and then escalates into the sublime. The track is categorized as neo-trance and as much as I hate new genres being created, that description honestly does fit perfectly. Porter is continuing to experiment with his sound and it is clear that he is wearing his heart on his sleeve. ‘Ghost Voices' in my opinion can be realized as someone coming out of depression and reaching a point of self actualization. It is truly a beautiful track that should be heard by all.
