Hot off releasing his latest single, “Right Amount of Wrong”, Gianni Blu is starting to truly build a following in the EDM and especially the Shuffling world. The young Italian-Haitian producer has dropped amazing tracks to shuffle and dance to for the past year.
His latest track “Right Amount of Wrong” caught the attention of one of the worlds most famous shufflers, Gabby David, who released her incredible dance video for the #RightAmountofWrongChallenge.

Below we got the chance to speak with Gianni himself about his new single, his upcoming plans, favorite foods and MORE. We also got an EXCLUSIVE 60 minute guest mix from the man himself to listen & preferably DANCE to!

What got you into electronic dance music?
When I was around 10 years old my dad bought me the very first ipod that ever came out. Then not longer after I was introduced to Kaskade, Tiesto, Armin Van Burren, and that exposed me to the whole world of electronic dance music.
Who are some artists that inspired your sound?
Definitely my biggest inspiration would have to be Diplo. The way he maneuvers into different genres and continuously pushes his sound forward is incredible. I am very inspired by his Major Lazer project. I love music that has a more global sound and pushes the boundaries.
Other music inspirations have been Skrillex, Kaskade, Sean Paul, Coldplay, Lil Wayne, and Eminem to name a few who have been in my life for many years.
Your song “Right Amount Of Wrong” is a house music smash with infectious vocals and a beat that makes you want to shuffle. What went into this track?
This track has a very interesting story. I started the beat early January. I came up with the main melody of the baseline within minutes. I knew it had like a “Show Me Love” vibe right away. I then went away from the track for a few weeks. When I opened the session again maybe 1-2 months later I heard the vibe with a completely new idea. I immediately started just freestyling vocal melodies on top of the beat and opened my voice memo app on my phone. I probably freestyled for 10 minutes straight. When i listened back I heard the line “just the right amount… of wrong… i love that feeling”.. I then wrote the rest of the track around that concept and it came together very quickly.
What artists are you listening to right now?
Right now i’m listening to music from all genres. Some dance music, pop, hip hop, spanish, caribbean.. Major Lazer, DJ Snake, Serani, Sean Paul, Offset, Migos, Bad Bunny, Yellow Claw, to name a few from my most recent playlist I put together.
What are some things you like to do besides making music?
It's crazy to think about that when for the last year I have done very little besides music..
One of my favorite things in life is to travel. It's like an addiction, anytime I can travel is amazing. Whether for music or vacation. I love experiencing new cultures and going to new places.
Other then that, I love soccer, it has been a passion of mine for many years. Fashion, Working out, and watching my favorite tv shows.
What's the winter have in store for you?
I’ve spent a lot of the year writing and producing new music. This winter a lot of it will be getting finalized which I am extremely excited for. Got several records with some platinum selling artists that I cannot wait to start planning the releases for. I have probably over 20 records that I am sitting on. But will be getting a good handful finalized and preparing for 2018 releases!
Throw in a bunch of shows all over the place and winter will go by very quickly
Favorite Home Cooked Meal?
My mom is a crazy cook!!! We have this meal we cook for special holidays called “Braciole”. Its an italian meat that is wrapped with prosciutto and cheese it's incredible. Add in some pasta bolognese, salad, cheesecake, and i'm good!
Favorite Junk Food?
COOKIES! For sure, Oatmeal raisin cookies are definitely one of my favorite things in life… Also later in my life BBQ Chips are another one.
