There's a tape of 7 yr old Brandon arguing with his guitar teacher about the right way to play this song. To this day he contends he was right all along.
2) Genesis – “Invisible Touch”
Brandon: A lesser recognised 80s pop crossover smash by a band that had once represented the virtual opposite.
3) Cyndi Lauper – “Time After Time”
Brandon: Even Cyndi never hit it out of the park like this again. That little whisper section at the end… singalong gold.
4) Seal – “Kiss From A Rose”
Alan: If there's ever a song that captures the early 90s and thus my early childhood, it's this one.
5) The Beatles – “All My Loving”
Alan: A timeless classic that always lifts my spirits.
