As the birds get ready to flock to Florida, Head Counselor Claude VonStroke prepares his finishing touches of the first edition of DIRTYBIRD Campout East. Aside from the outrageous activities, infinite laughs, and all-night dancefloor shenanigans, campers can expect their favorite DJs to migrate with them to St Cloud, FL on February 2-4 as Claude announces the third and final phase of the lineup alongside a special musical compilation of what’s to come.
Joining the lineup among the already star-studded billing will be the return of intergalactic hip-hop being Barclay Crenshaw as well as Dirtybird favorite mainstays, Justin Martin and Shiba San. These additions are also joined by the announcement of Showcase Stage Takeovers featuring Keinemusik’s &Me, Rampa, and Adam Port, Crew Love’s Soul Clap, Wolf+Lamb, Pillowtalk, and Nick Monaco, This Aint Bristol’s Billy Kenny, BOT, and Maximono, Brazil Team’s Bruno Furlan, Ciszak, DJ Glen, Danny Kolk, as well as Lalaland’s Green Velvet, Prok & Fitch, Walker & Royce, and Get Real.
In addition to the phase three lineup announcement also comes the Dirtybird Campout East Compilation which features music from Nick Monaco, BOT, Justin Jay and Maximono, as well as collaborative works from Claude VonStroke & Bruno Furlan, brothers Dateless & Lucati, plus Claude’s West Coast Family Set pick from newcomers Damiz & Baley. For a taste of the compilation, Dirtybird has decided to drop BOT’s tune off the 10-piece package. Listen Here: bit.ly/DBCEastBOT
While this may be its biggest musical offering to date, Campout is arguably defined by its off dancefloor programming. Campers will be treated to a plethora of nostalgic fun and activities exclusive to Dirtybird Campout East such as the Superb Owl Bar, Costumed Canoe Races, Hyphy Hula Hoop Championship, Swamp Survival Series, and a Double Dutch Workshop. With more than sixty activities they may find themselves throwing axes, Lap Dancing for their lives, performing in The Great American Talent Show and BeatBox Competitions, and laughing off their bunks during Comedy Night at the Bunkhouse. Other classic camptime activities include shooting archery, playing Late Night Bingo, and competing for their Color Team in Kick Ball, Potato Sack Races, 3-legged races, or straining sinews during Tug-O-War, all while contending for the famed Ironbird Trophy.
The East Coast location is a lush green, tropical paradise, with nine distinct ecosystems, meadows for dancefloors, all surrounded by Florida waters. The location is an actual working Summer Camp, an easy drive from either Miami or Orlando.
