‘Tis the season for festival lineup reveals, and BangOn! has outdone themselves once again with the unveiling of their Memorial Day Weekend festival; Elements Lakewood.
Similar to last year's lineup, BangOn! is bringing together the hottest, biggest and newest names from just about every sub-genre of EDM. The sophomore year of this music and arts festival features headliners Claude VonStroke, Rezz, Shpongle and TroyBoi to demonstrate the variety in genres present.
Claude, aka Daddy Dirty(bird), will be headlining the festival for the second year. He is bringing a few other DJ's from his Dirtybird label including Chris Lake and up and comer Fisher. Do NOT sleep on Fisher, do yourself a favor and familiarize yourself with his tracks, as they are all major bangers. (Here's his soundcloud). Other notable Techno legends who will also be making an appearance include Maceo Plex and the UK's Jamie Jones.
Rezz, aka Space Mom, will also be in attendance with her mesmerizing visuals and wonky bass beats. Over the past few years, the Canadian Mau5trap producer has accumulated a large cult like following, rightfully dubbed; The Cult of Rezz.
Other notable headliners include British trap extraordinaire Troyboi and the psychedelic electronic project from England Shpongle.
Even if this lineup does not appear to be for you (first of all, you're crazy), do not fear. Elements Lakewood and BangOn! has a spectacular reputation for throwing some of the most entertaining, enticing and holistic music and arts festivals in the US. Even when there is no music, or simply no music you want to see, there are so many different things to do and explore. With their four stages running 24 hours throughout the festival, Elements Lakewood is the last festival you want to miss this season.
