EDM has always had an eclectic fashion sense about it. Bold colors, flashy designs and explosive details have always found their home in dance music. Lately though their has been a massive influx of artists wearing one brand and one brand only, Virgil Abloh's Off White.
Off White Has Taken Over EDM
Instantly recognizable by it's signature diagonal stripes and bold minimalist design elements, Off White has become the unofficial brand of the dance music industry. Artists from Alison Wonderland to Markus Schulz can be seen wearing Off White. Virgil Abloh, the mastermind behind the brand even designed Axwell /\ Ingrosso's Coachella outfits this past year.
Virgil Abloh serves as creative director for Kanye West's Clothing line and has slowly but surely taken over the world of high fashion. He has seamlessly mixed street wear with high fashion for a line that matches the aesthetic of modern day dance music perfectly. Off White made waves in late 2017 for launching a line of shoes which pay homage to the 10 most popular designs from Nike over the last decades. The collaboration sold out instantly.
Check out Off White here, but be warned – it comes with a price and is almost ALWAYS sold out entirely.
