The World Dance Music Radio awards come back for the second year on Wednesday, March 21st. The event, presented by Los 40, is known as the first and most prevalent radio awards show dedicated solely to electronic and dance style music in the world.
One of the most anticipated nominees for the event is the Grammy Award winning Swedish electronic duo Galantis, who revealed in a tweet that they have been nominated for three separate awards, which include Best Electro House DJ, Best Party DJ, and Best Trending Track. Having made waves in the industry since signing to Big Beat Records in 2013, Galantis is best known for their gravity defying dance music which oozes with both energy and uniqueness. Dropping hits like “No Money”, “Runaway (U & I)”, and “Love on Me”, it's no wonder that this eclectic duo is up for multiple nominations.
