It is one of the best common arguments against EDM – “Those DJs aren't real musicians”. In the haters defense they do have a point for a handful of artists, but the truth is most big names acts are truly gifted instrumentalists. One of the most brilliant artists when it comes to instrumentation is Zedd. His hooks and melodies are always beautifully original and powerfully emotional.
Today Zedd posted a few clips to Twitter of him playing around on the piano with new chord progressions he is developing…and wow. They are just absolutely beautiful. Check out the short clips below and stay tuned to see if we hear these melodies in any upcoming releases as 2018 continues.
