South Africa's electronic trio, Goodluck, has just released their next hit single “Be Yourself” on Get Lucky Records.
The new single features a close friend from the Netherlands, DJ and Producer Boris Smith. Sharing his new sound with the world the Dutch artist has worked with the industry’s top talent such as Tiesto, Hardwell, Dannic and many more. While on tour in Europe, the band joined forces with Boris to produce ‘Be Yourself’.
The new international record label Get Lucky Records™, formed in partnership with their manager Row Weber, is geared towards signing and empowering talent out of Africa for global music release. The idea came from the band’s first steps into the international market with signing to ULTRA Music in 2016, and wanting to open up opportunities for their fellow Africans as well as distributing their catalogue worldwide through their own label house.
When speaking to the band, Jules (Goodluck) said “It's international women's day today and we are proud to be releasing a song with a strong message… Don't be ashamed, don't compare, don't judge, don't worry… Just be yourself.”
