RL Grime announced earlier this week that his album is officially finished and that we would be hearing the final single to the massively anticipated LP today. We have finally got our hands on his collaboration with Daya named ‘I Wanna Know' and it is an instant RL Grime classic.
While this one is no hardcore trap banger it does have RL Grime written all over it. It is more in the tune of ‘Aurora' in that it favors atmospheric and orchestral elements of the usual hard-hitting trap snare and clap. It seems that the release of ‘NOVA' is just on the horizon and we should finally be hearing one of the most anticipated albums of the past two years soon.
This comes with the news that RL Grime will be playing a festival closing set on a side stage of Ultra 2018 officially up against the mystery special guest closer on the main stage. Will it all be enough to draw a crowd amidst the hype of the special guest? We will see.
