The Yahtzel song, “Someone Else” just got flipped by a couple artists in a new remix pack. It's out via the Foreign Family collective and they, along with Yahtzel, did an excellent job choosing the producers to bring on. My personal pick off the record is by one of my favorite electronic acts right now, StéLouse. He uses that signature style to bring a new life to “Someone Else” with seriously impressive sampling alongside what I think are some key original elements. It starts out with an extended, washed-out introduction until the vocals cut out for an instrumental build. Before you know it the song's going all out with huge synth and a lush, crushed-sounding vocal. I think you're going to really dig this.
