Not being in Miami this week has made every cell in my body rejects my daily-2-day activity. I have been in the house for the past 3 days with the blinds closed listening to Levels by Avicii on repeat and the end will only come when MMW and Ultra are over. Im exaggerating, but, you get the vibe. If you’re not in Miami god bless you, god bless me, god bless us. But, just know, your liver loves you. To Miami, we only love our bed and out momma we sorry.
Outside of that impeccable intro, Miami Music Week has brought some insane news and new music already, from DJ Snake’s reveal of his record label Premier Classe to Steve Angello’s “Nothing Scares Me Anymore” to Ghastly announcing his upcoming album, Festival season is shaping out to be one for the Books.
Here we are on New Music Friday and there are some BANGERS dropping, most importantly one from Sam, AKA Jauz and European powerhouse Rapper Example titled “In the Zone”. The “Bite This” label head cannot be stopped and this track continues to prove his dominance on the bass music scene.
“In the Zone” brings out the masterful lyrics of Example and his UK grime influenced hip-hop, making this a track or hip-hop heads to bob the shit out of their heads. At the same time, the production from Jauz is equally remarkable, featuring exemplary mid-tempo house, which he has helped bring to the forefront of the industry. The track is club ready and just in time to takeover festivals across the world.
Peep the track from Jauz and Example below. “In the Zone” is here and ready to dominate.
