EDC is only a few weeks away now. It will be the first year that the festival allows patrons to camp on site. This will tackle the number one issue that the festival has had since it's inception – the traffic getting to and from the festival. EDC is outside of Vegas at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, there is only one 4 lane highway leading to the grounds, and the festival sees well over 100,000 each night – you can see how things got hectic. Now leading up to the festival more news has been dropping about some particulars. Today we got to see who would be hosting the storied art cars that dot the wonderland that is EDC Las Vegas.
EDC Las Vegas Art Car Hosts
Electric Daisy Carnival held nothing back when it came to their art car hosts this year. The lineup includes labels like Monstercat, Trap Nation, Proximity as well as brands like their own Night Owl Radio, and Holy Ship!. This is interesting as Holy Ship was always headed by Gary Richards former head of the HARD events. His team and Insomniac were not the best of friends. Now with his departure to go lead LiveStyle, it appears that LiveNation, the parent company of HARD and Insomniac has decided the two brands should kiss and make up.
While we are still waiting for more details on the lineups of the art cars, one thing remains clear – they are going to as always be one of the main attractions this year on the speedway. Check out the announcement below.
All aboard the ART CARS! 🚌 Check out the hosts that’ll be curating the vibes Under the Electric Sky! Stay tuned for full lineups coming soon. 🔊🎶 #EDCLV2018 pic.twitter.com/fehg803OEM
