Armin Van Buuren is one of the indisputable legends in dance music. The artist has held the rank of world's top DJ for many different years and has a release schedule that would make most people's heads spin. In his latest release, Armin has worked with some different style than his usual sound. While ‘Blah Blah Blah' is a clean track altogether, it seems that Armin missed the mark a bit in his most recent effort.
Armin Van Buuren – Blah Blah Blah
‘Blah Blah Blah' was first debuted during Ultra Miami 2018. The crowd immediately fell in love with the driving, relentless beat. Throughout the tune, the same sample of a child's voice is looped. While I think this serves as an awesome intro to the track – it stays constant throughout. This honestly got a bit annoying in my opinion once the track hit the halfway point.
This breaks my heart a little as I feel without the sample looped throughout, the song would be a true hit. While I can nitpick small things here or there, ‘Blah Blah Blah' does a lot right. The bouncing, pounding beat, and minimalist style are in line with exactly what most crave in a club or festival setting. The track also leaves itself screaming for a remix, and I entirely believe that another ASOT artist will step up to breath new life into this complicated tune.
