“Swiss” kicks off the EP, showcasing a new side of NGHTMRE with some heavy hip-hop beats. Small twinkling punches lay atop of trap-tinged undercurrents, all carried along with Pell's near perfect flow. “Lights Low” follows up as a sultry mood setter, Pell's voice crooning “Let's do it with the lights low” over NGHTMRE's immaculate production.
NGHTMRE takes a slightly different route than usual on this two-track EP, and impresses throughout. Whether it be heavy bass, trap, or now hip-hop, NGHTMRE's masterful hand at music soars on his newest work with Pell.
