We're starting to believe that Damon Albarn either never sleeps or is just flat out superhuman. After releasing their highly anticipated Humanz in 2017, Gorillaz followed with the release of another studio album, The Now Now, in 2018. Now, Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn says he has another Gorillaz album in the works.
While on the Radio FM4 podcast, Albarn revealed: “I have another one as well, but I know I’m not gonna be allowed to even think about recording or putting it out this year.”
Albarn went on to speak of his crazy music release schedule for the rest of 2018: “In October, after I play in America, I’ll be starting The Good, The Bad & The Queen again…It’s there. If I get the time, or if anyone wants it, it’s there.”
Yes, Damon, we absolutely want it and hope it will be there. We'll be patiently waiting until then.
