The Chainsmokers and Halsey’s “Closer” Makes Diamond Status

In 2016, popular DJ duo, the Chainsmokers, and Halsey released a track that they probably didn't imagine would take the world by storm. After two years, “Closer” has officially reached its Diamond status. Truly, this is an accomplishment well deserved.

The dance-worthy track was the Chainsmoker's first single that made number one on the Billboard Top 100. There is not one person who doesn't know this fan favorite. Receiving diamond status is not an easy thing to accomplish, but the Chainsmokers and Halsey did it. It was finally time after the single had reached platinum status 10 times.
