Capitalizing on an already successful 2018 year, New Orleans based ensemble The Russ Liquid Test are diving head first into the fall season with fresh new headlining, and supporting performance dates. The genre-blending, live electronic trio will headline shows boasting support from Artifakts, Recess, Belkan Bump, and Daily Bread. The tour started earlier this month and will last until the last day of 2018, NYE in Nashville where they'll open up for Papadosio! Their hybrid sound blends together raw vitality of classic funk and the inventive sound design of electronic production. Songwriter/producer and renowned brass specialist Russell Scott heads up the New Orleans-based band. Guitarist Andrew Block and drummer Deven Trusclair round things out- each providing a distinct musical background deeply rooted in the New Orleans jazz scene. At the heart of The Russ Liquid Test is an improv-driven musicality that began with Russell Scott taking up classical piano.
