Gorillaz have definitely made their presence known over the last two years. Between Humanz in 2017 and The Now Now in 2018, the group is leading with the most music released. But, it could be as long as a decade before we hear new music from Gorillaz ever again.
Recently, frontman Doman Albarn hinted that the group may need a break from future touring. This news comes right after Albarn teased a possible new album and right after their North American tour that just started October 8th.
“Well, we're going to have to even it out,” says Albarn, “Since there wasn't much time between these recent two records it's probably going to be another 10 years. Mid-September 2028, so please come and see us now.”
So, grab your tickets while you can. This may be your last chance for a while.
