When Cosmic Gate takes their talents to Anjunabeats, you know that something special is in the works. Last time they graced the Anjuna label was last year with the speaker-shattering remix of Gabriel & Dresden's ‘Only Road', this time it's collaborating with Anjuna monster Jason Ross on the progressive anthem ‘Awaken'.
First debuted at ABGT 300 by Above & Beyond themselves, ‘Awaken' quickly gained steam as one of the most sought-after ID's of ABGT 300. ‘Awaken' is pure progressive magic. This folks is how a collab should be done. Clearly hearing both artists signature sound throughout the track, ‘Awaken' has one of the most euphoric build up's and drops I've heard in a long time.
It's tough to reach expectations with a collab of this magnitude, but ‘Awaken' hit those expectations and then some. I may be biased as these are two of my favorite artists, but ‘Awaken' could be the progressive trance anthem of 2018.
