SWARM, who has recently opened up for the enigma that is K?D and the dark overlord that goes by Varien, continues to turn heads with his frightening sounds and bone-chilling melodies. I have nothing but love for how original his sound has been. This time Swarm has taken his originality and applied it to an absolute classic by flipping Pink Floyd’s Another Brick In The Wall. Remixing such classics are usually a risk, but SWARM violently crushed this one.
The industrial vibe combines with amazing strings and the result is a rather steampunk version of the Pink Floyd classic. Calming etheric synths frame the intro vocals so perfectly. This version of the hit song then builds momentum and begins to rise. The drop hits with such vigor that you can tell it is designed to invoke anger. SWARM has been constantly improving all aspects of his production and this latest release is a shining example of just that. Add this track to the limited video I have seen of his live sets and what you are left with is the top DJ on my bucket list. It is only a matter of time before SWARM is swooped up on the festival circuit to show off his talent across the nation. I am just getting tired of waiting for the world to catch up and realize how amazing this producer is.
