REZZ has become recognized as one of the most exciting producers operating the world of bass music. Her dark, ominous style has brought her legions of fans. Porter Robinson, on the other hand, is best known for his euphoric, upbeat music and at times, his emotion-injected style of production.
While Porter has reinvented his style in the past year with his Virtual Self alias, millions of fans still hold his album Worlds has his finest work so far. The album is best associated with its palpable emotions and narrative style. While Worlds did contain some darkness and ominous tones, it overall was euphoric, and almost optimistic in nature.
Rezz Announces A Rework of A Porter Classic
While Worlds is mostly upbeat, things are about to get a bit dark in the playground created by Porter's mind. REZZ announced today on Twitter that she is currently working on a new remix for a track that was featured on the album.
Naturally, she did not reveal which track she was working, or that it would even ever seen a release. But our fingers are crossed because the mash-up of current day REZZ with Worlds era Porter sounds like exactly what we need in our lives.
