The superb pairing The Ironix have just presented a fabulous new single to the world. “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” makes you want to do just that, and it's out now for streaming worldwide.
To celebrate, the German boys reveal their 5 Musical Guilty Pleasures…
1) Dillon Francis – “Look At That Butt”
It has massive feeling on the drop, very cool drums and is really inspiring! We love the flute in the drop and the Spanish vocals.
2) Tory Lanez & Ozuna – “Pa Mi”
Never ending flow, really interesting usage of bass which plays only a few notes and not throughout the whole song. Super nice, atmospheric sounds!
3) DJ Snake – “Maradona Riddim”
We love the electronic vibe Snake gave to Niniolas' “Maradona”! It’s a nice crossover between two worlds, the dance music world and the African music world.
4) Jack Garratt, Gryffin, Manila Killa – “Surprise Yourself” (GRYFFIN x Manila Killa) Remix
The combination of future bass chords with Jack Garett’s vocal as some kind of lead synth in the drop is outstanding. We love the massive energy of the drop. How Gryffin and Manila twisted the original is very impressive.
5) Steve James, RKCB – “In My Head” (ft. RKCB)
In general we're really big fans of Steve James productions. We love the room (reverb) he put the drop in. Sounds kind of like the inside of a bathroom, which isn’t like the best kind of place to sound like, but somehow Steve created a very unique, good sounding vibe.
