Carter Reeves is continuing to build on his solo working with new single “Fine,” out now via CloudKid. After six years of making music and touring as one-half of the alternative hip-hop duo Aer, Reeves is rediscovering himself through bright, feel good vibes that we’ve been loving since first listen.
“Fine” is very sweet, it's easy-breezy to get into and the melodies soar, which is fitting because the song is literally about transcendence. So, there's a lot to love here being the perfect juncture of pop and R&B.
Discussing single ‘’Fine’’, Carter says: ’’Every now and then I get lost and need some guidance from family or a friend. Fine is stream of consciousness referencing a conversation with my brother. It’s about falling in and out of love, and realising I need to defer those feelings and focus on the task at hand.”
