Snails is doing something no DJ has ever done before. Along with his recently released EP, Snails is releasing his very own comic book The Sluggernaut. The Sluggernaut will be part of a bigger series called The Shell.
Snails paired up with French artist Dr. Fanx to create the beautiful artwork. Writer Maria Filipone brought the story to life including characters such as King Slugz, King Frogz, Sluggtopia and more. The artwork will be similar to what we've been seeing on his The Shell 2.0 tour and will follow the same story as well.
The Sluggernaut is a story of a hero trying to save his people despite his flaws. The themes are centered on perseverance and overcoming obstacles and following your ultimate goal in life.
“My music and shows have always been attached to a story. Frogz, King Slugz, Sluggtopia and The Shell are all part of a bigger vision – one that hasn't been fully explained … until now,” says Snails.
