It had been a minute since we've heard anything from Dion Timmer. But this week, he graced us with a beautiful double EP titled “Very Extra” and it does not disappoint. The double EP features melodic tracks as well as heavier, bassier tunes that were used to hearing from Timmer.
The double EP takes on a journey “by immersing you in a world of euphoria and melody spanning the first 5 tracks. As you reach the back half, Dion turns up the heat and throws down some of his most aggressive new bangers.” I personally love this type of album because I find myself wanting heavier bass but also wanting to get into my feels.
Timmer also revealed this week that “Very Extra” isn't just an EP. “It’s a first look into ACHROMA, the world where the music was created. In a not too distant future humankind has been enslaved by its own progress and begun to give up hope,” said Timmer on Twitter.
With that said, it seems like Timmer isn't slowing down anytime soon. Since the EP's release, he's been teasing collabs with Excision and Zeds Dead which has me too excited.
