Deadmau5 went head to head with celebrities and influencers to raise $20,000 for extra-life.org. Extra Life encourages gamers from all around the world to play in support of their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Deadmau5 came out the winner after defeating Cloud9, The Try Guys, and streamer Jericho.
The event took place at the OGN Super Arena, which launched this past weekend to a sold-out audience. Its specialized stage can hold up to 100 players and sits a 400 person audience is the first of it's kind. Created by eSports, it's the only arena in the country set-up for battle royale competitions.
“With this event, our U.S. launch is now official and we are very excited to be able to unveil our new arena and studio for fans here and around the world,” said CJ E&M America CEO DJ Lee. “We can’t wait to show everyone the next phase in this journey.”
