The Bethel Woods Center For The Arts has announced that the 50 year anniversary of Woodstock is not only a go but it is being held at the historic site of the Original. The three day event will be held on August 16 through the 18th. It is unclear if the festival will actually use the name Woodstock however if they do it will his will be the fourth time the Woodstock name will be used, the first three being in ’69, ’94, and 99. I was just a young 20 something-year-old kid in attendance at Woodstock 99 and dehydration and fires aside (It was not as bad as it looked) I had the time of my life. Times are different now; music has changed a lot over the last 20 years let alone 50. I am pretty excited to see what is in store for this festival.
