The unfortunate announcement of the closing of the MID brought us to tears at the end of 2018. Now, the time for celebration has come. To celebrate the run of the famous Chicago nightclub, the MID is hosting a 22 hour non-stop event. The event, called Catch-22, is a lineup of over 40 DJs sending the club off in proper fashion. Headlining this epic event is none other than the Dirtybird godfather himself, Claude VonStroke. The Ukranian duo ARTBAT, as well as Chicago’s own Gene Farris, were also announced as headliners.
Tickets to this historic farewell party are available now. Get there while you can because once 11:30 hits on Saturday night, the venue will stop holding the door for ticket buys and allow general admission walk-ups. However, according to the MID’s website, ticket buys will be given priority admission as people leave. If you can't make it to Catch-22, Claude VonStroke is also performing at the MID on Friday night.
