DMX has had a rough go at it the last decade or so. He was once one of the biggest rappers of all time, but in recent memory, a string of addiction-related crimes and inpatient treatment center stays have made headlines for the icon rather than new music. Just like every potentially burned-out superstar does, it appears DMX is setting his sights on EDM.
Boombox Cartel tweeted out a message teasing an upcoming collaboration with the barking rapper. The song is already completed and is planned to be released before the end of the month. Will this help DMX reemerge as a champion of EDM? Or will this one come off a bit awkward? Only time will tell.
